Below is a list of FAQs applicable for orders delivered to Singapore. Do hit us up here if there’s anything you’d like to know or think we should add on to this list. Happy shopping!
Are the prices shown inclusive of shipping?
Yes. In the event where there are different shipping options, we list prices with the lowest shipping option available so you know what is the best possible price you can get.
Why is the price shown here different from the price shown on the vendor’s website?
Many international online vendors adjust their prices based on supply and demand. For most products, the prices are usually pretty stable. However, there may be certain seasons where there are adjustments to the price. The prices you see here are what we have extracted from the vendor’s website at the time of listing. Click here for more information.
Sometimes, there may be deals where products are offered at a discount. At this point, we are unable to monitor every single item for such deals, but you may follow us on our instagram page where we periodically share on certain great deals we have found!
Are there other vendors selling the products other than what is listed on HM?
Yes, usually there are different vendors selling the same products. Even within Amazon, there may be cases where Amazon Fresh and Amazon SG both carry the product. In cases like this, we list the best option available to you, EVEN if we do not get an affiliate fee from that vendor.
Our policy has always been to share the best with you, affiliate fees only help to cover part of our bills and are not our priority.
For items that are carried both by Amazon Fresh and Amazon SG, we list the one on Amazon SG as there is no mimimum order for prime members. Through experience, it is much faster and more convenient to order stuff as and when we need rather than sit down for sometimes hours just to scroll through the peoducts to hit the $60 minimum.
In case you didn’t know, our other policy is less waste, less clutter, more enjoyment. We do not encourage shopping and buying just to hit minimum orders and get free deliveries, but rather to shop for items that will actually be used and will value add to our adventures. Ordering stuff only when you need them will also help reduce excessive consumption, forgotten, expired products and consequentially wastage. It also helps to free up storage so that you can have less clutter lying around the house!
What is Prime Membership?

Why do you choose to shop from ezshop instead of using ezbuy Prime or ezship?
We have tested all three options extensively and found that for small to medium items, ezshop has given us the best experience so far. Below is a quick summary of what we have experienced.
Prime: Shipping for Prime items is at a flat rate of $2.99 regardless of weight or number of items. However, the prices of individual items are significantly marked up from the original Taobao prices. As a result, the nett effect is similar to paying for variable shipping cost. Plus the fact that Prime is chargeable at $69 for 6 months and $99 for 12 months, it doesn’t really add much economical benefit unless you’re shipping huge, heavy items like furniture.
ezship: ezship is where you purchase items directly from taobao and then pay ezbuy to ship them from China to your doorstep. The rates don’t really differ very much from the carrier at Taobao and sometimes take much longer for items to arrive. With the hassle of having to coordinate between 2 different companies for purchase and shipping, the pull factor for ezship is rather weak for us.
ezshop: The reason we love ezshop is because the reviews are written by Singaporeans themselves who have bought the items from ezshop. We have found these reviews to be more reliable and relevant, especially for ladies’ clothing. We can’t say the same for men’s and kids’ clothing as we have yet to try them out. Prices have also been extremely affordable with tops being priced at $6 on average and dresses at $15 or less.
As a rule of thumb, look for items with a rating of at least 4.7/5 to avoid disappointment with the actual product.
How are shipping and delivery fees calculated?
Shipping fee: Shipping fees for ezshop are very affordable at $0.60/500g based on chargeable weight. In simple terms, this means shipping for a top/dress usually works out to around $2.50 or less (it actually decreases per item when you group multiple items together in an order). Click here for more information.
Delivery fee: You can opt for pickup (free) at a location near you or choose to pay for doorstep delivery. Rates are based on chargeable weight at $2 for parcels less than 2kg and $5 for parcels between 2kg to 30kg. As a gauge, we paid $5 for 6 pieces of clothings and 2 cartons of 6 cup noodles. Click here for more information.
*These rates are for sea shipping as this is what we have used. For air shipping rates, please refer to this.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery duration is 8 – 15 days for sea shipping, 2 – 5 days for air shipping and 4 – 7 days for sensitive air shipping.
Are prices listed inclusive of shipping and delivery?
Yes. However, do note that these rates are variable. Since items are priced very affordably on ezshop, we have tagged an average of 6 items per purchase. This works out to about $1.20 per item for both shipping and delivery inclusive. (Remember, the rates per item decrease as your volume increases.)
Do note that there is also GST chargeable on ezshop orders.
*These rates are for sea shipping as this is what we have used.
What is chargeable weight?
It is 1.1 times the actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is heavier, of each order.
Actual weight: Item weight rounded up to the nearest gram. Parcels are weighed using a weighing scale after repacking.
Volumetric weight: The amount of space an item occupies.
The formula to calculate volumetric weight is:
– China/Taiwan orders: volumetric weight (kg) = length x height x width (cm)/ 6,000
Pro-tip: I find it a pain to calculate volumetric weight, but you can expect it to be really low for something that can be packed flat like clothing, and higher for items that take up more space e.g. cup noodles. As a gauge, I paid $6 (shipping) + $5 (delivery fee) for 6 pieces of clothing and 2 cartons x 6 cups of cup noodles. This works out to a total of $0.61 per item for shipping plus delivery.
