This is the wonton mee that used to be at the now defunct Lavender Food Square. Often seen with long queues then, it has since moved to Foch Road, with outlets at MBS and Toa Payoh now.

1 Review on “Kok Kee Wonton Noodle”
The portion is very small. I’m fine with paying more for a bigger portion, but the problem is they have it in only one size and you can’t like top up for more noodles, or meat. It’s annoying because the only way to be fully satisfied is to order 2 plates of it, which borders a little on too much. And paying $10 for wanton mee at a coffee shop makes me feel like I’m a carrot head.
Taste wise I’d have to say this is one probably my favourite wanton mee. The chilli is savoury and the gravy is very fragrant. It’s a heartwarming ol’ school wanton mee that’s so simple, but so difficult to replicate. Worth traveling down to eat, but be ready to either not get enough or to pay $10 and have a little too much.
