This stall has two kinds of gravy, the brown type that is commonly found in most duck rice stalls and the black gravy. The black gravy from this stall gets my two thumbs and eight fingers up. I’m not sure how to describe it, except to say that it has none of that artificial tasting nonsense. It’s like simple black soya sauce zhng-ed up.

There was a distinctive charcoal fragrance in the duck meat and the gravy really complimented the duck well. The chilli was also fragrant and very appetizing.

I also enjoyed the roast pork which featured a light, crunchy crackling and tender fats.

The soups are very affordably priced at $2.50. However, my Old Cucumber Soup was flat and tasteless. I went a second time and had the Sze Chuan soup which was much better.
